يهدف الإشراف التربوي إلى تطوير عمليتي التعليم والتعلم، لذلک جاءت هذه الدراسة بهدف معرفة واقع عمل المشرفين التربويين بمحافظة حفر الباطن، والتعرف على الکفايات الاساسية اللازمة للمشرف التربوي التي تسهم في تطوير النمو المهني لمعلم العلوم. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي. تکونت عينة الدراسة من (50) معلما، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية الطبقية، وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن عبارة "يحترم المشرف التربوي القيم الاخلاقية لمهنة التعليم" احتلت المرتبة الاولى، حيث بلغ متوسطها الحسابي 3,80. بينما احتلت العبارة " يحث المشرف التربوي المعلمين على القيام بالبحوث الإجرائية " على أقل متوسط حسابي، حيث بلغ1,9.وبشکل عام بلغ المتوسط الحسابي العام لاستجابات أفراد العينة 2,81، وبدرجة متوسطة. واقترح الباحث عدد من الکفايات الاساسية اللازمة للمشرف التربوي التي تسهم في تطوير النمو المهني لمعلم العلوم في المجالات التالية: التربوية والعلمية، والادارية، والتواصل مع الآخرين. وأخيرا أوصت الدراسة بمراجعة أسس ومعايير اختيار المشرف التربوي والعمل على تطويرها.
Abstract
Supervision aims to develop teaching and learning processes, so this study was to Knowledge and reality of the work supervisors in Hafer al-Batin, and Knowledge of the essential competencies necessary educational supervisor That the development of professional growth for teachers. The researcher used the descriptive method, The Study presented the following  Results: "Respects the moral values ​​of the educational supervisor of the teaching profession" was ranked first, with an average of 3.80 arithmetic. And "educational supervisor helps teachers to carry out scientific research" on the lowest average arithmetic, where it reached 1.9. In general, the arithmetic average of the year for the responses of the sample 2.81, and a medium degree. The researcher proposed a number of basic Competencies necessary educational supervisor that contribute to the development of professional growth for teachers in the following areas: educational, scientific, administrative, and communication with others. Finally, the study recommended to review principles and Standards for selecting the educational supervisor and work to develop them.
