هدف البحث إلى التعرف على العوامل الکبرى فى الشخصية وعلاقتها بأنماط القيادة لدى مدراء مدارس التعليم الأساسي فى ضوء بعض المتغيرات الديموغرافية , وعلاقة کل من الجنس , وسنوات الخبرة بالعوامل الکبرى فى الشخصية و بأنماط القيادة لدى مدراء مدارس التعليم الأساسي , , وقد تکونت عينة البحث من (200) مدير ومديرة تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية من الإدارات التعليمية بمحافظة دمياط , وقد استخدمت الباحثة مقياسين لجمع المعلومات للإجابة عن اسئلة البحث و وفى تحليل نتائج البحث , وقد تم استخدام المتوسطات الحسابية و الانحرافات المعيارية وتحليل التباين المتعدد , ومعامل الارتباط بيرسون , واختبار (ف) الاحصائى ومعامل الانحدار الخطى التدريجى وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بين متوسط درجات الذکور و الإناث فى عامل(الإنبساط , العصابية   الاستقلال الذاتى , يقظة الضمير) على مقياس العوامل الکبرى فى الشخصية , بينما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات الذکور و الإناث فى عامل (الانفتاح على الخبرة وعامل قوة اعتبار الذات وعامل المقبولية) على مقياس العوامل الکبرى فى الشخصية  , بينما لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين مدراء المدارس وفق متغير سنوات الخبرة على مقياس العوامل الکبرى فى الشخصية , ولا يوجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بين مدراء المدارس وفق متغير الجنس وسنوات الخبرة على مقياس أنماط القيادة   وکذلک  أظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة احصائية بين العوامل الکبرى فى الشخصية وبين أنماط القيادة  وأظهرت النتائج أنه يمکن التنبؤ بأنماط القيادة لدى مدراء مدارس التعليم الأساسي من خلال العوامل الکبرى فى الشخصية.
Abstract
This  research investigated  the nature of relation between personality major factors and Leadership Styles  among Principals of Basic Education  Schools in the Light of some Demographic Variables ,and the  effect of  gender and  experience in personality major factors and leadership Styles among principals of basic education schools. The sample of  the research consists of (200) Principal ( male and female)  chosen randomly selected from the educational departments in Damietta Governorate. The researcher used two scales  for collecting  information .The SPSS were used for data analysis. The result of the research indicated that there is  no statistically significant differences between mean scores of males and female grades in the factor of extrapolation, neuroscience, self-independence, and alertness on the scale of personality major factors, while there is  Statistically significance difference  between the mean scores of  male and female grades in the factors (openness to experience and self-esteem and admissibility) on the scale of personality major factors.The result of the research indicated that there is no statistically significant difference  between school principals according to variable of experience on the scale of personality major factors.The result of the research indicated that there is no statistically significant difference  between school principals according to variable of gender and experience on the scale of leadership Styles.And the results of the research indicated that there is a statistically significant relationship between the major factors in personality and leadership Styles.The results of the research indicated that the leadership Styles of the principals of basic education schools can be predicted through the personality major factors
